Shelly founded East of Ordinary Microschool, and has over 23 years of an educational background. She has a clear vision: to create a school where children are safe, seen, supported, and challenged as individuals. Kaitlyn oversees all aspects of the school’s lunch program, from planning monthly menus to preparing and serving meals each day. As the sole staff member in the kitchen, she balances time, logistics, and care to make sure students are nourished and ready to learn. Her role supports not just nutrition, but the rhythm and structure of the entire school day.

Annabeth is attentive, dependable, and deeply invested in the success of each student.
